Snelly 0
I was there and thought it was pretty rubbish. £11 to get in and a lot fewer stands than last year. Not good value for money and I don't think I will go back next year. Nice to see you though Mike!
ghostlyease 17
We was there on the Sunday, I did think it was a bit expensive to get in and no family ticket as a choice when you have the kids with you, saying that we did have a whole day out, wasnt a class for Staffords at all on the day till we asked for one and the lovely man obliged, took part in the lure racing, always fun apart from the dogs getting way too excited, Ripley loves showing me up at the up and over, liked this one as it was higher than many so Ripley had to work a bit harder to get over, think he left the dummy slightly worse for wear after kidnapping it and taking it to the last bale.... again £2.50 a go, used to paying a £1 a go at everything.... Norm get loads of pics from days like this, plenty of nice dogs to look at and take pics of but batterys died and I didnt have the spares  Who on earth thought this was a good idea I dont know.... lol Edited June 18, 2007 by ghostlyease
doddsy1970 9
I was there on Sunday and the highlight of the day was that noisy b@$&"d in that truck ending up on its roof
Phil Lloyd 10,738
These 'pseudo Country ' shows are getting silly... I had to collect a lurcher pup from a show at Highclere, run by the same crew as the Sussex... I was accompanied by The Big Fish and Rabbiteer,...It was Rabbiteer's first country show,.so, as both these lads have showed me kindness in the past, I agreed to pay for us all to get in... Big fecking mistake In mere seconds,..I was £33.00 down !!! Seriously now,...how on earth these guys who turn up with the wife, kids and a van load of jukels can afford to have a day out, I really don't know.... I suppose its a case of pay up,.or don't bother coming,.but considering the 'lightweight' entertainment on offer at these events,..it is a wee bit steep... Personally,.I rarely go to many shows,...but with a brace of young lurchers to socialise , I am going to have to visit a few,..just to get them accustomed to some noise and other dogs,.but feck me,..its gonna be emotional....$$$$££££££... All the best,...CHALKWARREN... " Another mouth to feed"... Edited June 19, 2007 by CHALKWARREN
TOMO 26,340
 one or two lads have told me if you park up in the car , then take your mut for a walk to empty them , you can very often find the cheap way in for some reason that big fencing they put round these shows , realy goes through the woods  . if you get stoped you have just been to the loo as there was a que at the lavs

ghostlyease 17
For those that missed the most exciting part of the day, the report is a little off as the fella got himself out the car he wasnt rescued, lol... http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002410...7280245,00.html The lure racing was over by the terrier rings, you had to go through a gate, it was right next to the house. We hold regular lure racing days, if your interested in coming please drop me a line, a few pics of some of the dogs that go.
