Moonlight ferreting

I've done it, good fun but I only do the ones out in the open and remember to only use white ferrets Otherwise you've had it lol

deffo mate, i do a few farms on the coast to coast walk an them ramblers are everywhere, to be honest they dont cause any hassle but its a pain in arse an a distraction at very least, an it gets me oot on fullmoons

Thanks for the reply's lads, i have tried it a couple of years ago but it was a half moon so we took a lamp an a couple of dog incased they slip the nets, i think we got about 4 in the end but it was a totally different but still good none the less, i might get out and do abit more when i can

Try it with a thin covering of soft snow,or a good frost

yeaah i find out bettter on my "permission" i went out during the day bolted 4 rabbits to my young dog and then went out moonlight week later bolted 10 i prefer it

Do you know I think they bolt better somtimes dont know why,but never seem to struggle that much, I cant remember having to dig one at night,probably have at some point,I always used to use the collars though,

Good when there is a hard frost, as the rabbits dont like feeding out in it.

Feck me it can be hard enough during the day let alone the night ok if you got perfect open warrens the worst thing is if the coneys are a long way out on the feed and your pretty much working a empty warren.
