Guest Leveller
It wasn't a waste of time mate, it showed unity and solidarity, sure a bill got passed but we're all still at it although there are a few changes here and there and I'd love to see the repeal be a success lets not forget hunting with dogs per se hasn't actually been banned it's just had to change a little (hopefully temporarily) If you actually read the act inside out it's largely about intent and this is a very difficult thing to prove. Blair writes in his own memoirs that he was "ignorant" about hunting and underestimated public feeling about it, and says he then deliberately sabotaged the Hunting Act to ensure there were loopholes which would allow hunting with dogs to continue. I know since day one I've used almost every loophole there is and will continue to do so in the name of hunting with dogs I don't look at it as a ban more of a slight iritation that enforces you to do one or two things a little bit differently.
