Bootsha 1,306
whats happened with them john ??, i used to collect my ferrets from neath railway station off them, always well handled, good condidtion and worked well to be fair if thats what you specified. I spoke to a lady from there once, asked her how they didi it, aparently there was an old pig farm with lots of pens, and they kept the ferrets in the pens with artificial burrows etc made in them, so they were always running through them from an early age. But yes, abot bros, thuxton, norfolk brings back memories, my grandfather put me onto them as he used to get feerts from them as well MANy years ago. Quote Link to post

A would of thought they closed down years back there's a guy writing in the countrymans weekly this week and he is on about them bought a few ferrets off them years ago when some low life decided to remove mine from my ownership still remember going to the station and picking the box up not knowing what to expect when you got home and opened it must say that the stinkers I got off them were in good health and good workers.ahhhh memories. Tug 168
I believe they closed down through pressure and bullying from the animal rights nuts, they used to breed for laboratory testing as well as sale to the public. Quote Link to post
