chartpolski 25,529
Sounds a bit harsh a fine of that amount chart!some great stories fair play The problem was that one of the three Magistrates was the landowner !!!! I don't think that would stand these days ! As soon as the charges were read out, he leaned over to the Clerk of the Court and asked "What's the maximum punishment ?" I'm sure the old b*****d would have had us hung or deported if could have !! LOL !! Cheers. 1 Quote Link to post

iworkwhippets 12,875
Cant beat it, out twice a day, unless its slatting it down, still get a buzz from it, ive got some beautiful lands to walk, it dont bother me if we catch or not, but its a bonus if we do, i have working dogs, so i put work in front of them, but for me, its freedom, an escape from reality for a few hours each day , keeps me young at heart, keeps me fit, enjoy your dogs, enjoy your life, as i do. 2 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
I'm 58 and my legs feel as if they belong to a 90 year old. Still get out with the long nets and the odd day ferreting when I can. There is an op I could have, but there is a chance I could lose my legs, so feck that. I gave up my SGC a month ago, that was hard, I have had one since I was 15. The mind is willing but afraid the legs are not, it's a bit of a bugger this getting old lark. By the time you think you have an idea of how things work, it's too bloody late. TC Quote Link to post
