Inan is the oldest I know of, he recently had two lightforce lamps fitted to the top of his mobility scooter but only as a range of 500 yards now as the battery fades..........................................64 I think.

I have GOT to get me one of those    Doubt it would do so well on a ploughed field though  I can still walk all day or night, but its the fecking plough that gets me down, especially the clay land that you carry with you at every step.

Thirty odd years ago I got my wife to drop me off with the dog about eight miles from home.I would then spend all night walking home with the dog and lamp. About three hours into my journey I noticed the country lanes were full of flashing blue lights. i counted half a dozen. I couldn't understand why little me could merit such a turnout. Fortunately I managed to make it home undetected.

About a week later I learned that I had strayed into the grounds of a guy who had had an IRA threat against his life. Someone must have reported the lamp and put two and two together and made five.

I can laugh about it now but at the time I was one worried lamper.
