pete123 45
I say misfire but didn't fire at all twice. This may be an easy answer to some but only held my fac for a week and new to using .22lr. I was out earlier with the gun and was in a position for a easy bunny shot! Pulled trigger and nothing, I then checked safety was not still on, cocked again and it spat out a round untouched. Again nothing happend after second shot? took out the mag and cocked gun to take other round out. Put mag back in cocked and fired no issues for rest of the night???? The two rounds that nothing happend were in good nick and fired later on when re loaded? Quote Link to post

nod 285
winchester ammo? i get an occasional one in my anchutz, could be just a faulty primer or weak spring in the bolt, mine dont do it enough for me to worry about messing about with the bolt Quote Link to post
blueeyes 45
Bolt might need a clean, check here also when not in use itake the tension off the spring by uncocking it shown in vid but you have to cock it again by hand to get it back in the gun. 1 Quote Link to post
paulus 26
just give the bolt a good spray of wd40 Quote Link to post
stubby 175
did you put a few of all different brands of ammo through it? it sounds crazy, but not all rifles are the same, my mates 452 loves winchesters, my 452 hates them, and therefore I use eleys, dont take anyones word, you need to try for yourself and find out my semi auto on the otherhand loves winchesters Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,935
I`ve just replaced the spring on mine for the same reason, Winchesters give me occasional grief like this as well Quote Link to post
pete123 45
Just bought it so will try other rounds as using Winchester sub sonics but only happened twice and didn't know about leaving the bolt spring out. Just bought it so might ask gunshop to replace the spring if it happens again! Cheers for the advice guys! Quote Link to post

pete123 45
I know it doesn't look hard but if it needs doing I'm not buying a new spring even if its 10 pence as I only had the gun a week! Quote Link to post
