Clarkey92 10
Just read about a v Mach tuning kit, this is the first time I've heard of it, anyone have experiences and opinions on both? Quote Link to post

johnwhit 4
The V-Mach kits are very good IMHO, I have one fitted to my HW77K, very smooth consistent performance, never used a gas ram so couldn't comment. ATB, John 1 Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
Gasrams for the hw80 were always more expensive, theoben used to stock them on there site, about quid Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Just get a 90 and have done with it. If retro kits leak, they can't be topped up. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Gas Ram for an HW80? Never again! I had one fitted to an HW80K some years ago. It wasn't a happy marriage and ended up smashing a valuable scope with vicious recoil vibration. Like Andy says, get an HW90 and have done! Superbly accurate the HW90, very nicely proportioned and a tough, hard working rifle you can get out and use. If you decide to go ahead, don't even think of putting a Hawke scope on it. It won't make it through ten shots if it was anything like mine! Pianoman 1 Quote Link to post
Barnsley-Bill 0
my HW was tuned by Dave hall but it took about 6 months to get my gun back from him' even though it shoots great Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Now Andy steady on here mate. Children could be reading! It's very sweet! Lovely rifle. Not too long, not too short. Has a very nice and compact feel to it. And it cracks off good and sharp with a crisp letoff, No sense of lag or drag. I really like it! Simon Quote Link to post

Pianoman The Leapers Accushot will take the recoil, built like a tank, a little heavy and long but if it'll fit the rifle I'd highly recommend one. J.S Ramsbottom have the 4-12x44 for less than £100, great value: http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/riflescopes-leapers/swat31244ir36color-leapers-swat-3-12x44-full-size-illuminated-mil-dot-30mm-side-focus-scope-36-colou.html ATB, John Quote Link to post
