the_stig 6,614 Posted September 21, 2012 Report Share Posted September 21, 2012 i think stans had the best idea with a photo competition.........something we can all do and take part in!! maybe we could run a monthly thing where in that month everyone has to try to get the best possible picture of a bird or animal??? it would get people out an about a bit more and we could have some fun at the same time.... the obvious first choice would be a jay....... on prizes im sure we could get a few things between us!!! ive got a nice pair of brass deer that i would glady throw in.......... feck i`d better get round to paulus for a crash course Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Someone's bound to have a small field? Few few of the guys who make gear could come have a few little stalls, donate a % of the profits to something. Could have a small entry fee for the rest? Plenty of beer and bud Just a thought edited to add, as said before something simple may be better/easier. Photo comps are great , but people tend to loose interest after a few months & it may well end up with no one bothering there arse tho submit entry's which is a shame As for prizes well i am sure theres lots on here prepared to donate prizes but you have to think about postage costs to send the stuff & who pays it , I honestly think a one off collections the best way & do a pic comp with no prizes & as a lasting tribute to Craig name a sub forum in his honor that way he is still permanently remembered on here as he should be Just my humble opinion for what its worth 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
