I was pricing marbles for this very thing and they seemed cheap as hell in comparison to alot of ammo types.
Jamie93 57
Pricewise marbles are cheaper but you only have to ask/see a few of the serious catapulting lads and I think you'll find they agree with me. What are you after, Price or Quality?
Aaron Proffitt 142
Well...I tend to shoot alot. But I do see your point.

DAN.BOY 13
cheers lads, i already knew that lead would be the far better choice, but i decided to try the marbles out the other day and bagged a couple of feral pigeon, but i doubt the marbles would pack enough punch for tree rats so ill stick with lead for them, but i got about 150 marbles for a quid so the flying rats are gunna get it! and round my way they've just knocked down 2 old tower blocks and they were full of the things so theres plenty round! all the best and happy hunting, Dan. 3175darren 1,101
I often thought of buying a ball mold from midway and get some old wheel weights, but dont know what caliber to get,to acheive the right size,
Jamie93 57
I use 12mm. Your best of buying a 12mm mould and get some lead from the local scrappy. REMEMBER: Warm your moulds before pouring! Jamie93
