THE BIG TON... And moster bags

Recommended Posts

could dogs do the ton half way through the season or 3 parts through the season when the rabbits are harder to catch cos they are lamp shy

First time we did the ton,,, was at the end of October, 2009',,, granted that was two dogs,, and last year our two best scores of 90 and 101 came in December , the 101 was on the 29th of dec....ok that was 3 dogs,,, but mine had 53' that night.

My own view is that the dogs could do the same again,, even later in the year,,,..............the big issue is if the rabbits are still there, and haven't been killed by other hunters , disease or preditors.........of course they still need the correct weather conditions

cheers tomo i was just wondering not criticiseing as we all know that at the begging of the season rabbits are easy for the dogs and if no one has ever been on the land dogs will pick them easy but as the season goes on the rabbits get harder and wiser to catch which imho i thing a good test for any dog is towards the end of the season when they have realy got to work for them cheers atb malc

sorry mate but i think you will find me and my bitch will be doing 104 tonight and i'll be home for x factor

Dazzz what was the weight on the dogs like after 3 nights like that????Where they just feed there normal meals or topped up with stuff?????What kind land was it????? just few questions cheers and well done

Ruby has lost a bit of weight, i didnt notice it so much but as soon as i got home the wife said she was skinny,

it's like when a mate has a pup and you go round and say that pup has shot up but he doesnt notice as he see's

it every day.

i fed her hill's science plan dry with chopped up fatty heart and beef that i quickly fried in some beef dripping when we

got back in from lamping then she had an extra meal of pasta brown bread and tinned fish, so not quite twice as much

as her normal intake but certyainly at least a 3rd more food

i like the hill's stuff but couldnt say it was better than any other brand, she allways looks healthy and her coat gleems

she doesnt shit a dozen times a day like they do on some dry and her stools are firm and dark, so that for me is worht the extra

cost, plus the fact i have one dog so the expense is not a huge factor, it would be interesting if skycat could comment on feeding

even if she thinks im doing things wrong i dont mind a bit of constructive criticism.

just for you mate lolDSCF1787_zpsc6674193.jpg
