I cant wait for the day when journalists are accountable for the utter wank that they produce. I doubt that there was a single factual sentence in that hysterically written bag of bollocks I hope so

why let the truth get in the way of a good story ay

not to worry ill be out when ground softens up numptys like that will never stop me doing what me and my dogs enjoy most all the best this season lads and try not to inflict too much torment to the

yes read that part aswell,, she needs to take her nose out of what doesnt concern her and get back in the kitchen,,, no offenceto the the female hunting communtity

I thought it was good though that a couple of literate pro hunting people took the time to rubbish the article

the public still wouldnt believe what genuine hunting folk say, even though explaining the correct way to do things and how humane it is, let them beleive that suffering from mixi is the best and quickest way to die, clinical morons but hey city dwellers will no f**k all about the countryside apart from the animal that reside there, ts comical but hey just laugh it off

I've tried to post a comment on the link, but I can't. These people should be made aware, in no uncertain terms, that hunting rabbits with dogs IS legal, as per "The Hunting Act 2004" !! If these people had their way, not only would ALL hunting be made ilegal, but it would also be a crime to have a pocket knife on your person; something which IS NOT ilegal in certain circumstances !

Well done to Gragman and Goz for putting our side of the debate so eloquently !! !!

Cheers.

Maybe not but people sat on the fence are more likely to recognise an alternative point of view if its expressed properly rather then the usual 'fuk off anti... you no noffink' etc etc

For the vast majority mate it does. But there is still a good proportion of the population that live and/or grew up in the countryside and even though dont all hunt themselves they still recognise the need for it, i take on board though that when its in print lots will take it as gospel

Former Lancashire NFU chairman David Graveston said that anything other than licensed controllers carrying out a clean kill was ‘unacceptable’.

He said there were also strong concerns over illegal methods being used by hunters, who then sell on the rabbit meat which can be contaminated after being savaged by dogs.

Mr Graveston said: “Farmers are allowed to kill rabbits on their own land or hire someone to do it for them, but they must be professionals and licensed gun holders.

“On some estates there are also gamekeepers, but getting just anybody in to do it is a no-no.
