well the lock knife bit worrys me, as ive always had the Buck knifes which are brill lock knife, but think the blade is about 3 1/2 -4in , .Its a great knife for gutting or anything really, not sure if its bit over the lenght with the law.Prob gett pulled for poaching+ carrying a knife knowing my luck lol

what does the law state about knives ?

what does the law state about knives ?

a knife needs to be folding, non locking and with a blade under 3 inches in length. Any thing other needs good reason. Using a knife in conjuction with a legal activity is a good reason. If you are hedge hopping then it goes out the window.

well they wanna go out with a gun man and a dog man ive been out shooting and injured rabbits before killing them BUT when i go out with the dog its dead in seconds i bet not one of those people have ever been out lamping and they just look up on the net and find the worst things they can and paint us all with the same brush! but never mind boys hunt on and ignore the rest of the world!!! atb for the season!!!!!!

thats what i wondered so as long as im coming to or from a permission with a skinning knife and not ragging a borrowed scooby round with a machette in my pants its ok :D

I'd make sure you are going direct to and from your permission mate.............stopping of for a spot of lunch in the town centre with a knife and your up shit creek. We have all done it...you just forget its in your pocket. I went to a Celtic game with a box of 50g .222 bullets in my pocket.............. :icon_eek:

ive had a fishing knife taken off me by a numpty copper and ive been stoped by old bill when out with the dog but not asked about knifes yet but they wont be takin that one worked hard to get the money for it! its not like were going to go knock off the ex (well maybe not all of us)
