That depends on which newspaper you read! lol A bit like the hunting life, that though........Hot babes...1900+ comments, 64000+ views, how many on the death of soldiers in Afghanistan or anywhere else the British and commenwealth army has to serve! If someone witnessed an old woman getting mugged and knew the muggers identity or witnessed a hit a run of a father on his way home after work by someone they new the identity of and didn't report it then to me they certainly are less of a moral citizen than any other. The bloods on their hands for not reporting it imo. You put your head down and say 'not my business' to anything then you cannot expect witnesses to 'grass' when it's your wife, daughter or old man that gets mugged, murdered, raped or assaulted. It IS black and white.......you either grass or you dont grass you cant go halfway......the thing your getting confused with is grassing and snitching.......a grass will drop someone in the shit to save their own arse and that can never be defended in any situation at all.................a snitch is not trying to save their own arse they are just picking the phone up and involving themself in somthing that doesnt concern them sometimes its understandable sometimes not..............but grassing can never be seen as understandable. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You're quite right. I know the difference between the two gnash, but most have the over simple view that reporting any crime is grassing. You must have seen it on here as much as I have, countless threads where the wannabee gangsters comment with the statement "you never grass" like they are some sort of underworld hero. Calling someone a grass because they dont want to live somewhere surrounded by the scum of the earth drug dealers or gangs is insane. Maybe people get the neighbourhood they deserve. No....grassing is when your standing with your back to the wall with 2 options.......................A,take it on the chin like a proper chap should...........or B,drop someone else in it to save your own arse.
