6x4 sheds?

Recommended Posts

Hello. Went to Homebase yesterday to get a new Jigsaw and couldnt help noticing that they had a 6x4 shed for £99, not bad in my eyes.

At the moment my Ferts have 2 Hutches joined together by a pipe, they are both fairly big but are abit messy lol

So I was thinking I could buy the shed and convert it :hmm:. It has a perspex window in it, would that need to be changed? Just wondering if it would get too hot.........Could change it to mesh?

I was thinking have the shed then have a run attached next to it, understand? It would be in a very shady place too.

Good idea? Would the window need changing? :hmm:

I have kept my ferrets in this type of shed for years and although i agree with ditchshitter about some ferrets being escape artists i have never had one escape through the panels, the one escapee i did have got out through a hole where their was a pipe for a dryer sticking through, I,d go for it if i was you, good luck :victory::victory:

Orded this today :victory:

Shiplap and all, wasnt keep on the overlap, could see the ferrets climbing up the walls as I tryed to get in!

What do you reckon I need to do?I am thinking I will cover the floor in a couple of inches of wood shavings to try and stop the piss soaking into the floor.

A few logs and stuff for them to climb on.

For sleeping I might have a box attached to the wall with a ramp? or I could put my hutch in the shed and leave it open?

Do you think I might have to line the bottom with lino or something? to stop it getting wet over time?
