Hehee..mate.. well you know when you sometimes think that you can jump off the top strand of Barbwire with 1 foot on top strand and the hand on a nice sturdy post..? Well i'm blaming the post..it had a bit of give in it...causing a bit of a slip. . .I ripped the arse out of my barbour wax trousers..and caught my welly on middle strand as I went down for a roll over... charlie nelly1 142 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 got these the other day, hav'nt arrived yet but im sure i wont go wrong for £30 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27cb1be22b Ive a mate who trains gundogs and does a hell of a lot of beating and picking up for various shoots etc...He wears some ex army gortex lined type boots and has had no problems at all in 2 seasons of hard and long use. . .makes you wonder..When you get yours mate go out and give em a good bashing a nd let us know if there anygood please. arivved in good time, full day beating on a grouse moor yesturday and 100% dry feet at the end of the day, which im supprised as there is alot of wet land so 25% of the time the water was up to my ancles, however with rubbing on the heather the front has started to wear down but overall im pleased Quote Link to post Share on other sites

littlefish 587 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 Improve the comfort and dryness of your feet by wearing Sealskinz socks - they are three layers thick and WATERPROOF.
