Ok a few dickheads on hear are having a go at gypsys/travellers , and classing them as dirty scum , im sure some of you know travellers , through coursing and probably find them as decent as folk as you get i mean there are good and bad in all classes , races of people so id appreciate it if the racism stops i for one know plenty of travellers and plenty of country people and aswell as coloured peple and there are good n bad in all of us

Racists are the worst form of people, I know heaps of travellers through boxing and hunting and have yet to come across one that made me wary of them, in fact one night about 2 years ago I was coming home and a few lads from a different town came and started causing trouble, well I was doing ok until I got taken down from behind and then I got a right kicking :black eye: , lucky for me a few traveller friends of mine were passing and lets just say I havent seen them pricks back in this town again

It just shows that there is only a few bad lads among them, like everything a few lads feck about and everyone gets tarred with the same brush, if I heard things been said to the travelling lads by me I would not be too impressed

I think the difference is people are getting genuine traveler folk mixed up with "Knackers", and I'm not bein racist at all, Southerners call them "Pikeys", the Irish and the Travelers I know all call them "Knackers", these are the "don't give a sh1t" thieving brawling dodgy buggers that people are on about, unfortunately everyone gets tarred with the same brush far to often.

 

Its like calling all asian people Pakies, or in "tyson's" case calling black people "coloured"! sometimes its just ignorance :thumbs-up:

Seriously though mate I think its just a case of knowing them, all the young travellers that Box in my area are all grand because they know you, But I do agree there is a lot of BAD ones among them

using the term coloured isnt offensive , i should have phrased the sentence as ethnic groups if i wanted to be politically correct
