Malt 379
Great when you get them that tame, reminds me of this bugger I had a few years back: He was as tame as a dog. I could trust him to take hold of my fingers no bother, used to try gently pulling me about the living room by them! Not much use about the warrens though, but a great pet. Used to curl up and sleep on a lap like this even when he was fully grown: Quote Link to post
reddawn 2,173
i think all ferrets should be like this, if any of mine turn any less tame than this then its not for me im afraid, ferrets should be given the same respect an treatement as dogs imo, if they bite they are a liability, iv seen a few folks scared to pick there ferrets up whilst they are wired to the moon, never mind stick there hand up a stop end to get the ferret an bunny Quote Link to post
iworkwhippets 12,839
What i did from day one is to invite him to bite me, rough play, fingers in his mouth, not wait for him to come bite me, this seasons kit, so not worked yet, he will be entered with a nice working mature, im looking forward to it, go down a treat with my whippet Quote Link to post

Tug 168
They are only getting used to a glove, not your hand. Just man up and handle them with firm tenderness and respect. Quote Link to post
