''what a lakeland should look like'' As that implies looks mean something..the lakeland terriermen I know personally wont consider looks, but do consider size, coat, and obviously ability first and foremost. The ammount of different looking terriers in their kennels shows that typey lookers are not the order of the day. Some of them tiny wee things, others with heads like aligators... what they look like today matters not. What they work like, matters a lot.
