Hi all i am making my first batch of cider from a kit (fruits of the forest flavour) i set it going yesterday with the lid clipped on properly and this morning the fermenting bucket looked like it was going to explode! I let the pressure out but i was wondering if the lid should be clipped on properly or just resting on top as the kit says covered with the lid and im not sure if that means clipped on - Sorry for the daft question but i was wondering if bacteria could get in, iv not done this before and want to do it right
