iana 25
Ive had both, still got the TXhc and for me it's more accurate than the out of the box. When you strip the two down the TX is better bult than the . I finally fitted a vortec kit to my and polished everything up which then put it in a class of its own. Sold it in the end to fund my S410 fac. But I guess everyone's different. Quote Link to post
Alan Holmes 11
Gents thanks for ask of your input. Pianoman, thanks for your technical review of the 2 guns. I love the look of the TX and drawn by the reviews of accuracy. However the hw80 is like going back to my youth with a simple break barrel that does what it says on the tin, my concerns were accuracy but I feel reassured by all your comments. I'm going to get a hw80 (tuned) and have some fun, may get a TX, down the line. Thanks again. PS hw97 great accuracy, been smashing rats in my chicken run over the weekend, shouting through the chicken wire. Great fun! (still don't fancy one though). Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Great choice Alan. You won't be disappointed or let down with your new HW80. Whatever your preferred calibre. This is one rifle you can depend on any time. All the best and thanks for your kind compliments sir. Regards. Simon Quote Link to post
