Some help/ advice

I've got a 4/5 month old 3/4 saluki grey pup , hes retrieved toys/dummys ect since he was 7 week old ,he retrieved indoors , and out in the compound , and in his kennel/run but when out in the field he just runs off with the toy/dummy and sits down and chews it then leaves it and returns to me? Its odd because he's retrieved 100% everywhere else , I've tried tug games , chase games the lot but nothing works out in the field ? Not had this issue with my other dogs Any ideas lads

Jordan if any help I got bow to do it by chucking it 1sted when he was Gunna feck about with it I ran off shouting his name and he just though every time I chucked it he was flat out and going to get it and brang it me I no yu told me a lot but that's how I got him to do it

Yep I've tried that too lol , I think I'll let little jack mature more , lol but he's been the easiest pup to train to date for me ,

Lol the little bugger and carnt wait to get out now mate my lamp Broke so I order a new one and it's coming Monday all being well yu been out much yet ?

You'll have to let ne know how you get on , I've been out afew times now alls well dogs lovin it caught plenty of game so far
