carpentermark 21
Hi all, pretty new to photography and need some advice. Have been looking for a half decent camera for wildlife/ landscape shots without breaking the bank. A used (but in excellent condition) Canon 400D 18-55mm kit has come up for sale for £230...... is this a good price for this camera? Is this a decent camera for a novice? Is it able to take good quality pictures? Any help appreciated, thanks in advance. Mark.
Buster321c 1,010
Its a bit `dated ` but still a good camera .
Coyotehunter 689
Its a camera capable of taking stunning shot's, and as for it being dated, anything over 6 months old now is dated, the one thing i would say is ditch the 18-55mm, and buy the staight prime 50mm lens, its cheap but a very good little lens

Cleanspade 3,324
i agree that it is capable of taking really great shots. but i sold a canon 350D with three lenses for that. and to be honest you could get a brand new entry level camera for not much more. canon or nikon. for not much more i would hold out for a better deal i also like the fifty lens. and the first thing i bought for my little nikon was a fifty hope you get sorted
