broonball 38
i feed mine a little bit at the same time as normal just to stop the whining. i have also noticed when i go out lamping she empties herself 3/4 time in the first half hour, in my mind she knows that she should run light. Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
I think the worst SITU is when you kennel gundogs and lurchers together the labs get fed after working at 5ish as the runners watch on as the labs stuff themsellfs then vice versa when I fed the runners in the morning ready for the evening lamping the labs look on with horror . Still rather feed well before on both accounts due to the stories of twisted guts out of intrest how many have suffered with dogs with twisted guts or mates I know of none myself ATB Cookie Quote Link to post
R.A.W 1,987
i try not to feed any solids at least 5 hours before . acouple of eggs and a dash of milk 4 hours before works well for my bitches. it gives them a bit of energy and keeps them hydrated. plus they get a good coat Quote Link to post
