im thinking of buying a new filter, ive only ever used the red 1s and was wondering what every1 else is using and what there like cheers mh

why do some people think a filter is just to dim the lamp,for lamp shy rabbits, to keep a low profile,etc,etc, they are a big help to the dog for picking out a rabbits eye when sending the dog out to a tight squatter in stubble, longish grass,winter rape, imo

If there are street lights,amber can give you the edge if there lamp shy.

I use a red filter to spot and then flip it up and use the white to slip the dog. I find that, while the dog will run on the red light, he picks up better with the white. When shooting, foxes are less wary of the red filter.
