is .20 worth a go

Thinking of a rifle change , what's people's opinions on this cal? Is it not much difference between the 177 n 22 or is it not much bother because of the range or very little range in .20?

A friend of me is using it on the Hunter field target range, a HW97k .20 <12footpound. He is almost unbeatable in the springer class. I had the occasion to use it once on a rabbit hunt, rabbits knocked over very easy up to 50 yards, very accurate and a lot of punch with the Barracudas.

My formal Falcon skeleton .20 was also very accurate, 24 footpound and usefull for every kind of vermin, also very accurate and a very flat trajectory. At the moment I have the HW90 .20, it serves me very wel,l, a real rabbit and rat slayer with his 22 footpound.

I've got a .20 hw77. Cracking gun and I find it hits like .22 but flies like a .177

I would recommend the calibre.

I fitted a .20 barrel to my HW90 about five years back and I wouldn't change back as my main caliber. That said, I also use .22 and .177 from time to time if I fancy a change but I'll stick with my 20's for the most part

Are there any pellets about 11grain mark that are good in most .20?

FTTs tip in at a claimed 11.42 and my 90 loves them. They fly nice and flat and pack a proper punch down range, I can't fault them in mine.

I have an HW95 .20, I think for sub 12ft/lb hunting, .20 caliber is the best.

Nothing Davy, I just fancied a change. With the rapids there's so many people who work on them if something was to go wrong. I can service it myself too. So unfortunately its up for sale atm. If I could I'd keep it mate, its spot on, I must be a fool lol
