paulk73 151
went to shoot a few rabbits with a mate the other week. i got a 3/4 grown rabbit in the range finder, checked my hold over against the range finder, pulled the trigger, rabbit 1 down, not a twitch. its mate sat tight, so same thing. rolled straight over, but the rellet impact didnt sound right. upon checking out both bunnys, i found that both had been hit in the chest, not the head like i had aimed for. both rabbits had been cleanly shot, more by good look than good management. thing is before we started the session, i did a zero check, and things where spot on. so i did a chrono test on the hw only to find the power had dropped from 11.57 down to 10.92. is it normal for a new rifle to loose power as it beds in????? was using field target trophy pellets, the same as before. cheers guys Quote Link to post
