hw 100 power loss

went to shoot a few rabbits with a mate the other week. i got a 3/4 grown rabbit in the range finder, checked my hold over against the range finder, pulled the trigger, rabbit 1 down, not a twitch. its mate sat tight, so same thing. rolled straight over, but the rellet impact didnt sound right. upon checking out both bunnys, i found that both had been hit in the chest, not the head like i had aimed for. both rabbits had been cleanly shot, more by good look than good management. thing is before we started the session, i did a zero check, and things where spot on. so i did a chrono test on the hw only to find the power had dropped from 11.57 down to 10.92. is it normal for a new rifle to loose power as it beds in????? was using field target trophy pellets, the same as before. cheers guys

hi mate not heard of any losing power from new usaully the opposite mate. but if its a new rifle get it back to the shop.
