Well it's been a very interesting read. A few things I did not realise . Let's hope the famlies get done kind of closure, And those to blame answer fkr thier actions, I doubt they will , but we can hope.

 

 

Hey gnash Mate.up here we can't even sing songs, or have a bit rivalry banter. You will get a dawn raid And find yourself in court for that. Weird eh not a punch or a missile thrown, but a few words can get you imprisoned, what a f*****g shambles!

 

Thats mad Scot is it only political stuff they,ll sling you out for ? surely not for every f**k shit and c**t that gets shouted out !..............I know a few of the grounds i was at last year The City ground Notts Forest was one where they have noticeboards with a number so that during the game if you hear anyone being racist you can text the block/row/seat to this number and the stewards will come and remove them !!!!......I was told it works where it would need say 5 texts for the same seat number or something like that......but get this.....its ONLY for racist stuff,nothing else !.............There was another few grounds i forget who now it must be something they,re trying out in the lower leagues as ive not heard any premier league grounds that do it.

I know personally people who lost people, I also know people who were there and never the same after. What happened on the day was a travesty, very very sad and i'm glad that those who fought hard for justice have got their just rewards... BUT i'd also agree with Wilf here too. Well i dont agree why always Liverpool.....but i do agree theres a strange bunch of sheep who jump on this bandwagon of sorrow with their constant " rip the 96 "......the mad thing is they are not even proper Liverpool fans some not even scousers for f**k sake !

I also agree with what someone else said about Heysel.....ive even heard it said over the years Hillsborough was Gods payback for Heysel......i wouldnt go that far as you have to treat every case individually......but it was certainly a strange scarey quirk of fate.

Lurcher1 ive been around true loyal genuine supporters of Liverpool and had long conversations about this whole Hillsborough thing with them........and Wilf is absolutely right,they dont want sympathy,they dont want this terrible weeping and over respectfulness that people like you do because its what you think Liverpool fans are " supposed to do "............ see this is where its sometimes obvious who actually supports a football club and who just runs around saying they do and acting like they think they,re supposed to act ......................all they wanted was truth and justice and thats one of the reasons i admire them it was never about compensation or the type of long flowing tears you seem to think its about........Ive met some stand up fellas up there who to this day i still call friends,ive never heard them mope about and feel sorry for themself and they follow the club home and away and put everything into the club...............its nothing about being tough its about being genuine !

I am definitely not a Liverpool fan, far from it, I'm a Man U fan born half a mile from the ground. I think the fiercest rivalry in English football is between United and liverpool. But for something like this you leave aside rivalry on the pitch. This issue is far more than about football.to be accused of 'jumping on the bandwagon' is unfair.

Not me mate im an Englishman i,ll stand up for my own right or wrong............But i remember the World Cup the year after we took loads of stick from Italians trying to defend Liverpool and that was their theory about Hillsborough they thought Hillsborough was a gift from God.....sick shit i know.....

My thoughts were Heysel could of been any of us West Ham,Millwall,Chelsea,Forest,Leeds,Cardiff thats just how it was back then taking ends was the thing to do.......just fortunately in England grounds were made of stronger stuff and walls didnt fall down when you leant on them !

The only reason there is no closure is due to families will not let it go the truth is 23 years later what sort of justice can be gained apart from the huge amount of money its go cost the yorkshire police all going to affect is the standard of policing to the population who are living in the current area .

 

I guess not one copper despite being hated on THL by the vast majority of THL membership intended for one death that day and the most important factor is that grounds have become safer and policing better from the tragic events of that day .
