My apprentice was killed at Hilsbourgh . He had gone there with his younger brother who also worked at the garage . One brother died and one brother survived . My workmate and another lad from the garage drove to the ground to rescue the serviiving brother and drove him round the hospitals looking for the missing brother . They all told me that the police tried to stop them from entering the hospitals. The surviving brother later told me that the police were hearding them into the ground with police horses. Justice at last.

RIP Steven Brown.

You obviously havent been to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates lately :D ....i go for a Jimmy there even if i dont need one just to see what the latest lines at Harvey Nichols are !!.......Grounds are far safer now than they ever were you could let a couple of 9 year olds walk into any premier league ground in the country on their own they wouldnt come to any harm these days.......................unfortunately what you gain in safety you lose in atmosphere and i much prefer them old days before football became a family day out......stewarding,football intelligence, cameras, ticketting allocations, safer structures...................will all prevent the old taking of ends like the old days or the tragic events we,ve seen in grounds of old.

I dont agree.....why not compromise......why cant grounds have 1 terrace where the " boisterous " ( for want of a better word ) fans can go.........no soppy birds to worry about no little kids.......still have the segregation but no reason why a bunch of lads cant go for a sing song and a knees up without silly little doris housewives telling you to sit down !............No reason to take every last bit of humour and fun out of following your club not everyones out for a tear up.............not anymore anyway :D

The chief constable of Yorkshire said today that he still believes the fans contributed to the tragedy. Unbelievable.

As long as the police investigate themselves, cases of police corruption will continue. They must learn that in order to police by consent they must get rid of bad apples. Otherwise resentment will build.

I am not trying to be smart after the event, but my team is Man Utd and when they introduced fencing to contain fans I vowed I would not attend any more matches as I did not want to be caged like an animal.

.Where were the health and safety officials when the clubs decided to introduce these fences? It was a tragedy which could have easily been predicted.

and the rat has changed his story again now their shouting for his head and now the foookers will know what its like to toss and turn all night wonder how many phone calls have been getting made compering stories over the last week what id give to be there in a few weeks months when they start knocking on doors and they will :hmm: Edited by gonetoearth
