asanley 1,009
It,s great that the truth is finally out , I,m pleased for the families especially , and the city as a whole . After all the hard work , blood , sweat and tears put in by the those involved in the campaign it would be a shame to spoil it by all and sundry getting triumphant about it , becoming instant experts and demanding the heads of every one who happened to be in some sort of uniform on the day . Thankfully the truth is now out there , but there are no winners and it dosn,t automatically turn every Liverpool supporter into a saint ,Trevor Hicks and the rest of the families thought it important to maintain a quiet dignity , some people could learn a thing or two by emulating them . I feel qualified to comment because I was there .

gonetoearth 5,144
Sorry, but you can't have me on this....like gnash I know some belting scouse lads never once heard them say shit about it cause they ain't the type to harp on about stuff. And please don't crack on like Liverpool is some beacon of resistance when bad shit happens, we have been getting blown to bits for years in London and from what I can see we just crack on......it's our way, in fact it's the way of all proper chaps from anywhere in the country. No parent should have to bury their child but they are the only ones who have the right to crack on about it, not all these other f*****g grave robbers ! . I was not going to comment know more wilf but. No ones. Saying anything about terrorist attacks. We can all hark back to the blitz spirit if you want. Lpool. Flantend. The east end , Southampton. Coventry etc etc what's. your Point. None of these. We're lied about. No one. Blamed the victims. Why did I comment. When I was not there. Because. I go the match. On the toss of a coin it could have been. Us. , that's all besides losing. A friend. Any one I know. Who was there rarely talk about it You have to drag their story out of them or when we're all together. And something. Sparks a memory. They open.Up Beacon of light us.
