rocky1 942
ovsilly this was a accidentel mating ,but if your brother willing 2 take the chance go for it Quote Link to post
BEARINATOR 2,871
obviously this was a accidentel mating ,but if your brother willing 2 take the chance go for it As Rocky said as long as he is happy with it then that is all that matters , if it throws heavily to the running dog side it will be quick enough but if it goes to the bull or collie side it will be a decent ferreting, mooching dog 1 Quote Link to post
BrianSteven72 369
its a big risk to take with only a quarter running dog prob to slow for most occasions , but if hes happy thats all that matters leave him to it ! Quote Link to post

KittleRox 2,147
aye I have one bred this way and I,m more than happy with her, real handy at ferreting as far as predicting/working around the burrows and decent on the lamp as well, can run all night and bomb proof obviously this type of x lacks pace but as long as he enters it properly it should do ok on the bunnys if there was one bit of advice I would give the lad or anyone else for that matter who has a half collie it would be don,t overtrain the dog, just do the basics and let the dog think/ hunt/ work for its self , keep us updated on the pups progress, atb 8 Quote Link to post
