JohnGalway 1,043
There is a report on CNN about the brother of the current head of Al Qaeda, apparently he is putting himself forward as a mediator between "Them" and "The West" I was skeptical enough before I actually got to his idea of terms... The West to: • U.S. and West to stop intervening in Muslim lands • U.S. to stop interfering in Muslim education • U.S. to end the war on Islam • U.S. to release all Islamist prisoners. Islamists to: • Stop attacks on Western and U.S. interests • Protect legitimate Western and U.S. interests in Muslim lands • Stop provoking the U.S. and the West So basically, the West buggers off and forgets everything, while the Islamists carry on and decide what is or isn't legitimate. Something tells me he's not onto a winner there. But, entering into negotiations may develop leads to follow and find more of those lovely people for a drone to drop a bomb onto. http://edition.cnn.com/2012/09/10/world/meast/zawahiri-peace-plan/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
MoChara 1,632
Malt,I don't think that it was just Irish-Americans funding the IRA, there were a lot of ignorant romantics piling money in as well. Of course any loss of life due to terrorist attacks is a disgrace. I did not write to start an arguement, just voice an opinion. A lot will say it was also unjust to have state sponsored terrorism by Britain in Ireland. Just saying. I'm no fan of any side up there by the by, but in wars all sides do wrong. Too right.. Well said
gonetoearth 5,144
I personally think that America's "War on Terorism" is slightly hypocritical considering that they funded terrorism in Northern Ireland for the best part of 30 years. Just my opinion, but surley hundreds of innocent people died in NI at the hands of terrorist organisations funded by the USA piling money into "The Cause"which was something that they didn't understand. 9 11 happens and we're all expected to suck them off..... First I've heard of that association. Our government has been elbows deep in a lot of stuff , but first I've heard of that one. . That you in your avitar. gonetoearth 5,144
It's not that a major feat tbh. Quite a crude attack really. The yanks were complacent never had a major attack on thier city, since the British in the 1700s.they got caught with thier pants down and paid the price. The only conspiracy was after the deed was done. The hawks moved in to salvage something out of this mess. ie the theft of a nations resources, and to settle old scores! quite a crude attack lol it was pure genius a group of foreign nationals walk in to the most security conscious. Country in the world train to be pilots well take off any way then hijack four planes. And attack the three most iconin buildings in the USA. Quite a crude attack lol. Security concious ? Are you kidding me ? This country is ( and most certainly was then ,as well) so afraid of being labeled as isolationist and xenophobic that it trumps any kind of security concerns. . Try getting in without an American passport. Bud
staffs riffraff 1,068
the biggest unexplained is the pentagon plane, anyone think thongs are not quite right with the the towers look up up facts about the pentagon i.e. how the plane flies past the occupied side of it does a 180 and goes on to the side that was empty due to maintenance, how theres no footage remotely resembling a plane going into the building and the debris after, how an inexperienced pilot can do a manoeuvre like that fly so low to the ground over highways lampposts etc and as son as the crashed happened pentagon employees were in lines picking up what little pieces of what they say were a plane when it would be proper investigators only ever get near a plane crash and how it was easier for the pilot to fly over the short distance to the white house than do the turn back into the pentagon i dont know what happened but theres far too much that dont ring true if you keep an open mind. RIP to all that died that day and since to all innocents on both sides Edited September 11, 2012 by staffs riffraff

If nothing else, sometimes it's nice to sit around and bullshit with each other on a NATO base in our native language. Mostly we find ourselves talking about tits and ass.

There was CCTV camera across the road that would have caught it all on camera and solved any conspiracy stuff....unfortunately the video mysteriously disappeared............
