Dan Outdoors 13
Driving through rugby warwickshire today and saw a Harris hawk fly over the road ahead of me, I wouldn't expect anyone to be flying one there so potentially it was lost.. It was over the great central reservation on the Ashlawn road.. Just thought I'd post it on here as it might be usefull if someone has lost one.. Atb Dan Quote Link to post
tom 2 9
are you sure it was a harris, warwick castle has just lost their whitetail eagle its been on central news. Quote Link to post
Dan Outdoors 13
Well to my knowledge it was, are they vastly different? In laymans terms it was mostly dark/tan orange with the white tail with a black bar, what I would recognise as a Harris Quote Link to post
Dan Outdoors 13
Just google imaged the white tailed eagle and it definately wasn't one of them.. Quote Link to post
tom 2 9
Ok mate have you looked on the IBR website to see if a harris is reported lost in your area? Quote Link to post

Mark White 25
I had to trap a mates bird last year made my own it works a treat easy to make and you dont have to do anything other then bait the trap I used 3 chicks as they stand out on the ground and it had eaten a few over the years you could use a rabbit or something else as well I sat some 100 yards away in my car until the trap sprung but you would have to no it is in the area.
