jackrabbit2 1
Hi every one is a silencer on a .22 lr essential while out hunting? and if so what is the best make to get? cheers everyone. Quote Link to post
doddsy1970 9
A silencer is not essential but it is recommended because it does suppress the crack to a hardly audble phut. This will give you the possibility of more shots over an unsurpressed shot. As for moderators...... You cant go wrong with a SAK. They are cheap, light and strippable. Quote Link to post
reeking rabbits 15
Doddsy got it spot on, there's a noticeable difference while using a mod with .22 subs. I'd also add it makes a difference when trying for new permission's, one of my new permissions has a condition that i use a .22 with a mod because of the owners horses......... the other condition is i don't shoot the black rabbits because their "cute"! If i didn't have the mod i wouldn't have gotten that permission and for the price of a SAK mod (Around £30, Great bit of kit) and putting it on your FAC its a no brainer! RR. Quote Link to post
iana 25
It's a defo for me, especially shooting over 70/80 yards. You can shoot at a couple of rabbits and drop one. The one next to it may not even move. Without the mod they would all be gone after the first shot. Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 495
SAK. Cheap and does what you want a MOD to do. Quote Link to post
