bita help with pups nail?

okso i just went out the back and called the pup in, when she was in on the tiles i seen blood coming from her foot. i cleaned it and checked it, its' her nail that was bleeding i touched it slightly and now the thing is pointing up just wondering what yous' think i shud do.

Is it the nail or the toe pointing up if just the nail id cut it of but will probably get a much better answer of someone else

just clip the nail off mate , the part thats sticking up , right were its broken , it will piss the dog off and keep bleeding if you dont , , sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind , it wont even fiss on the dog by later in the day

its actually the nail that has came out of the nail bedding tbh i not sure what to do, she limping a bit but apart from that it dosent seem to bother her,, trying to post pics!!

pain killers first pal. then a trip to the vet if you haven't got a clue what to do. dont go putting your dog though any more pain just on some strangers say so. common sense really. were would you go if it was you? i rest my case!!!!!!!!!

If it is just the nail and not whole toe, the pup will most likely have it nibbled off quickly and will lick it to keep it clean.

really need a pic or two before i'd give any advice but a pulled, broken or split nail can be easily treated at home

if its just the nail them cut it off as close to the toe as you can she will prob yelp and it will bleed for a bit , then she will be fine if you dont she will keep catching it and hurting it its going to fall of anyway !
