cracking pics lads, its good to see the young ones getting involved in the game, i am well known around my erea for taking kids out for a day ferreting, and showing them the ways of field sports in general, its a real good feeling when there coming back asking there mums and dads can i get a lurcher and a ferret, lol.... its better than them sitting in front of a playstation or tv, or even worse standing at street corners getting up to mischief, my own lads have been out from early age and love it heres a couple pics to add to your topic :thumbs:post-7569-0-56329100-1347149100.jpg post-7569-0-05047400-1347149179.jpg post-7569-0-05084400-1347149219.jpg post-7569-0-15291800-1347149256.jpg post-7569-0-15291800-1347149256.jpg

My little one is only 15 months but 2 of her first words where pup and birds. She loves takin the dog up the field, walks the mother to my pup whenever out her grandads; she sits in her pram with the lead in hand, calls the dog ( well says here whilst do a strange hand movement that she thinks is calling them lol) and when out grandads again sits on her little wicker chair whilst the pigeons are out or traing shouting here and loves to feed them and trying to get in the loft.

My dad taught me and truth be told all my fondest memories are out with the mutts or pigeons and hope she carries on the same

My young lad has been out hunting with hounds since he was about 5. He is mad to keep into the hounds and wants to be right up with the huntsman all the time. If i stop to talk to the lads he gets on to me as wants to be in the thick of it. He has been on a few digs no bother does what he is told at the moment.

I have a daughter who is 5 and she loves the dogs always out in the yard playing with the pups and dogs. Hopefully she will continue that.

As someone said earlier better than stuck in watching the telly and out robbing
