Guest Scuba1
So you rake everything together and bung it in the microwave and have the salad for free. Sorry but can not see the point in shooting a bird with a .223 at what ever range. ATB MIchael Quote Link to post

ATB MIchael theres plenty of point when crow shooting for vermin controle, after all its the bird dead that is the point, not much point in shooting pigeons as theres not much left to eat unless your a special forces sniper and go fo head shots only Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
Will you be eating it?! Quote Link to post
doddsy1970 9
if you can afford to use 223 ammo on pigeons then do it. But it is a bit of a sledge hammer nut scenario. Nice shooting though Quote Link to post

ATB MIchael good shooting i say, forget the calibre of the gun and its vermin and its dead, might be expensive round for shooting birds but i would rather see birds shot than foxes, dogs if it has legs and guns if it has wings Quote Link to post
No messin 2
IMO nothing wrong with shooting birds with a rifle, perfectly good ferret food or pest control. For the number of shots we have in a morning (5 or 6) using a .223 isnt going to break the bank at around 25p a round is it?? Quote Link to post
