irishboy 1
Hi All I was wondering could I get a bit of help please. One of my lurcher bitches has got pregnant by a sheepdog not ideal , my mistake !! Just wondering would the pups be any good for hunting, {{not expecting them to be that fast on the lamp etc but would be steady enough out ferreting maybe }} } lurcher is wheaton x grey x bull, not sure of the exact mix though she is 19tts and is the dog in my avatar. My next question is how long after birth is the right time to start exercising her up again to have her hunting, ?I am not being cruel to her just want to make sure i do everything thats right by the dog,,is this season over for me before it has even started or can she start something about 10 weeks after birth ?? Any help greatly appreciated as always. Cheers IB Quote Link to post

Can be done up to 6 weeks into the pregnancy (so my vet says). Better scenario in the long run IMO Cheers, D. Edited September 8, 2012 by dytkos Quote Link to post
