Any mackeral around torquay

Off down south at the weekend for a trip to get a few pike baits. Are there a few around there after the settled weather?

Pick an evening high tide mate, hope nose ( babacombe next to torquay) or berry head ( brixham) or the pier in torquay it'll be good now mate sea temp is high and there's a few around good luck

Went today and caught the sum total of f**k all mackeral!!!!!!!!!!!! My mates missus had 1 but that was all we caught bar tiny pollock. No-one had much at all only saw 4 macks caught all day. But hey ho thats fishing.

where did you go . i was down paignton harbour yesterday and they was catching a few. ... .

 

next time ur down give me a shout. ill take you bass fishing on my boat

We were down berryhead, normally we get a few but there was nothing at all! The tide was pretty small which didn't help i reckon.

 

Bass off the boat sounds ace, will have to give you a shout ta. seen a huge bass at berryhead a few years ago trying to grab the mackeral off the feathers fishing on the rocks.
