out on new permission

Hi all,

Me and my mate aka guns went for a mooch on my new permission this morning. We got there and spoke 2 the farmer so we know the bounderies and that then off we went, we seen a few bunnys about and about and this was bout 10am, we must hav seen at least 100 wood pigeon walkin round the farm for a few hrs! Plenty of fforestry on the permisson for the squirels and we seen a few of them

 

Plenty of other vermin 2 shoot there aswel! We seen a fox with a few cubs with her!

 

So we decided 2 get the air rifles out and go for a mooch

I was using my air arms s410f super-lite and guns was using his rapid 17 while he is waiting for his hw97 kt to come back from samuel fields sports after a stage 2 tune is complete!

 

I spotted a rabbit bout 60 yards away so the stalk was on

I managed 2 get about 40 yards away and I left my shooting sticks in the farm yard so I had 2 take a free standing shot at 40 yards, pulled the trigger and smack down the rabbit went stone dead!

Only the one rabbit we had 2day but we will b back up very soon with decoys and hopefully get a nice baf of pigeons

Its a lovely farm and only a few miles away! Its full of vermin so hopefully a few more topics in a few weeks
