crorider 174
Wondered peoples opinions on the best type of dog for lamping rabbits? Getting a bitch pup sometime around xmas and seeing as bunnies are the only legal game, they're all I'm really intersted in. Ive read a lot of people that say you can't beat a pure whippet and a few more saying beddy whippet or beddy greyhound. Love to hear experienced peoples views on this question. I understand that it's a very vague question seeing as theres a lot of variables such as the ground they're running and the fact that each individual dog is different but people must have a favourite? And I'm in kent so my dogs will be running quite hard, flinty ground. Cheers Where in Kent are you mate? Gravesend mate. Theres nowhere round here really, gonna have to travel to medway area as thats where my mates permission is. Where in kent you based?v You got much experience working dogs in kent? Quote Link to post

reddawn 2,173
iv seen bunnys dogs of all shapes an sizes, all men have diffrent standards as to what they want from a bunnys dog, i think if you have got a keen pup an are keen yaself at the ole bunny bashing game then ye dog will make a good un getting a dog out often enuff to master the tasks an itll do well, they do say practice makes perfect.. tho the best iv had was a sal/grey x coll/grey, an id probs have another 1 day just to see if it could fill her boots 2 Quote Link to post
