crorider 174
Wondered peoples opinions on the best type of dog for lamping rabbits? Getting a bitch pup sometime around xmas and seeing as bunnies are the only legal game, they're all I'm really intersted in. Ive read a lot of people that say you can't beat a pure whippet and a few more saying beddy whippet or beddy greyhound. Love to hear experienced peoples views on this question. I understand that it's a very vague question seeing as theres a lot of variables such as the ground they're running and the fact that each individual dog is different but people must have a favourite? And I'm in kent so my dogs will be running quite hard, flinty ground. Cheers Quote Link to post

wuyang 513
Wouldnt bother with whippet or beddie whippet if just mainly lamping. Collie crosses tend to have decent feet, kelpies look to have great feet too. Nobody local you can ask who runs that type of land? Quote Link to post
