Guest WILF
No & No!..................."Flavours" are really only blends of chemicals that are mixed with a carrier agent such as ethyol alcohol or oil ...........lots of the chemical make ups are the same they just smell different to humans. So stick with proven EA flavours such as strawberry for instance and use in quantitys no more than 3ml to 16oz of base mix.......with a fish or meat base you could drop the level further to say 2ml. You may not be able to smell the "flavour" but the fish will..........good luck Quote Link to post
hafod 1
wilf is correct in what he is saying, you dont need to add that much flavouring, take for instance, tiger nuts ,hemp etc,not much smell, but great carp attractors,...an overdose of attractor mat be added, for example, the use of single hookbaits with no free offerings, which can be effective on occasions, but the use of bait dips can be used to achieve this, the trick is not to over complicate matters, try a few out.like wilf said,strawberry.........,tutti frutti, scopex, they been about for years and are still catching a hell of a lot of fish, soon as you find one you feel confident with and are catching fish with ,stick with it..a lot of these new baits and methods that are advertised are just as much to catch the angler as the fish...good luck Quote Link to post
