AndyKelly 251
just to let you all know i have a new product in . its a 0.75 cross braid nylon ( its an updated z nylon ) its great quality, tough wearing and only £1.50 per net!!!!!! only downside i can see at this moment in time is that it only comes in white - i can counteract this by putting gold, red, purple or green draw cord through it so people can recognize there nets whilst out in the field from other peoples can email pics if needed the net has a silky feel to it and has been dragged through brambles, seems to pick up less debris than the z nylon . it is a tough product i gave it to the jack russell to rag and even she cant break it. the net has been double knotted on all loops to give extra security but the knots do seem to pull tight as you use the net. any questions please feel free to pm me cheers andy Quote Link to post

netrigger 568
Been using crossbraided nylon for years now. It makes a nice net especially the 0.25mm for longnets. the 0.50 makes a nice purse net as does the 0.75mm.. Regards. Quote Link to post
netrigger 568
Heres a few sizes of Braids that I use quite often. theres 0.25mm, 1.6mm, 0.75mm, 0.50mm .. Heres a 3ft purse net in 0.50mm , these nets are great for working hedges, e.t.c. as they handle really well and pick up very little debris. Plus hank up really well.. This Net has the last row of meshes in 0.75mm, and as you can see theres not a lot of difference in diameter compared to the 0.50mm.. Like Yourself Andy I think these twine types make really good Nets.. Regards.. Quote Link to post
AndyKelly 251
it looks a great net but it aint the stuff i am using though it may be a similar product. will take a close up of mine netrigger and you will see the difference Quote Link to post
