patterdalejoel 669
By the ring looks like a German imported Yakido, ring looks a bit tight and needs cutting of. I'm surprised the more experienced asian keepers on here thought it was a shamo? It is no more of a gamecock than what a carlisle is to an oxford. fair enough on the thinking it was a shamo "thing", but when you look at shamos from around the world and manipulated for different styles, they are like jack russels, not two the same and some short legs, and some long. but on the gamecock thing, since when is a shamo always a gamecock? not here its not always, anyway. I wouldn't know such things Bud, you are surely much better informed than I.

Still an educated was Germany as most Yakido breeders are based there these days like I see at Cologne. It must have a Dutch/Belgian held Passport then. And yes you answer your own question indeed Bud.

Aseel Shamo 13
yes slips I've heard the same thing they were middle weight an mostly sparring partners for the bigger shamos in japan
Abel Magwitch. 13
Thought you didnt go to shows Abel ? Like a dogging site I was more interested in the action in the car park - it was a exercise meeting Turkish gamefowl contacts at a suitable venue. But you can keep your 20p prize cards and ribbons at your exhibitions. Like you say, you know what thought did. As for Yakido, I knew someone who had them from of Willy Coppins imported Japanese birds. They moved like they had three legs and bred just for the fancy like Ko-shamo for the last few decades in japan. I was told that a Brazilian guy imported Yakido in from Japan, he culled all his Yakido's as they was simply not game. Edited September 7, 2012 by Abel Magwitch. Tuzo 251
Yes Bud I know what thought did. It stuck a feather up its arse and thought it was a chicken. I just wanted to clear up the fact that you so despise shows yet travel to one in Germany to meet some guys in a carpark. The genuine gamefowl men I know of dont meet in show carparks.....but each to their own I guess. Good luck with all the strains/lines/breeds you keep and sell.
Tuzo 251
Abel are you not on OTG anymore ?????
Abel Magwitch. 13
Bud I don't breed for commerical ventures, I breed for myself. Yes I keep three shamo strains. Somehow I doubt you know any genuine gamefowl men. But if you'd like an indepth run down of my German trip with the guys I tagged along with I can give you a detailed personal message with photos of the Turkish guys from Munich with there pure Hints and other guys from the far flung corners of Germany with their birds. You really like to hammer home that I put on here for 'drink money' a couple of taiwan poult pairs as I gave up my adult taiwans and sold them abroad, so maybe a genuine person could start with nice material.... Good luck with the birds you dabble with and sell also, and hope the Yakido last longer than your shamo 5 minute wonder revolving door whims. Perhaps I should venture to a exhibition you attend and Introduce your good self to me, then you can introduce me to all your top gamefowl men you know? That is a genuine offer. Tuzo 251
No need for any detailed itinary Bud, I dont doubt you met up with some genuine guys from Germany. By all means introduce yourself at a show, would be good to have a natter face to face rather than on here. Unfortunately I wouldnt be able to introduce you to any gamefowl men as they dont go to shows. Drop me a pm and I will tell you which shows I will be at.
