hw97k 36
well ive had the thumbholed hw for a while now and it took some getting used to. lve been practising on targets and learning the trajectory with various pellets finally deciding on the old trusty superdomes .i was itching to get out hunting with it but have the hw .177 for that.recently though ive been getting a few runners hence the .22.so finally targeted up to the teeth,i went out this aft on one of my favourite permissons ,a 20 acre garden laden with all the recognised quarry.first off a woodie around 35yds ,neck shot and down it came with a heavy thud.over the moon but unsure could of been luck.around half an hour later a squizzer around 40yds bobbing along in a world of its own,a quick click of the tounge and it sat up and looked straight at the strange clicking. bap straight into its chest a couple of rolls back and that was that.next on to a small raised embankment and the first of 2 rabbits grazing out a quick estimation of 37ydish and the pellet zoomed over its head.fortunatly a quick dart then it sat up right ,second chance, slow down and re estimated ,34ydish and the second mildot down on the map6 recticle and a perfect head shot slumped face first without so much has a twitch.the morning rolled on and i got another squizzer and 1 more rabbit.my confidence was skyhigh and felt that the practise, tedious that it was had payed off handsomely. when the .22 hits it hits and no runners today.so on with a new chapter and ive a feeling this guns going to be a classic .thanks for reading atb carl.
