Audioslave82 2
Once again, thanks for all the welcomes. Ive definetly came to the right place. Ive learned so much already since signing up just reading through content. I do have a question however and maybe its a stupid one but i cant seem to find the answer here or on google. I spotted a field that had very high steep(ish) sandy/grassy banks at the back end of the field. The cattle were fenced of from this area and the ground was very uneven as tho tractors or heavy machinery drove through it at 1 point long ago. Anyway, i took a stroll over to see if there were any signs of rabbit life (using the advice id learned from here such as trails, droppings etc) and sure enough i could see on approach a number of burrows mid way up the steep incline. I seen many trails and some droppings fresh black coloured clusters but also straw coloured droppings which i asume are droppings dried in the sun . but the thing that was confusing me was that there were no burrows within 40+ feet of each other they were very widely spaced and some only half dug out. My understanding was that theyll always have and "emergency exit" but no matter how hard i looked i couldnt find another hole near it? Is this a sign that they are not established there or is that common?
The one 8,477
I was always told thats its the does that do most of the digging when there in kit ,maybe they didn't like the ground etc and moved on or there play holes ,theres no hard and fast rules you just have to take this game and conditions as you find them
