T42 44
I have a 10month old Kelpie/GH whippet/GH. I have been doing some road work with her for a few months now, gradually building up to 6mile a day within the last few weeks. I go on a bike with the dog in a steady trot. 6miles takes us about 45 mins if you can gauge a speed from that. Recently one of her front pads has started to split and crack (only the front left though) causing her to be ever so slightly lame. My question is what to do now? Do I lay of it completely or just walk rather than bike until it heals? She is at a good level of fitness and will happily and easily do the mileage we have been doing but I guess her feet just aren’t hard enough yet..... Many Thanks T42 Quote Link to post

Maximus Ferret 2,063
have you tried padnasol? Where do you buy Padnasol Birddog??? I've looked on the web a few times and never found any for sale. I think there's more than one colour too, which colour for split or cracked pads? 1 Quote Link to post
