iv only ever seen three lads working this type on the lamp and they all yapped,man or the dog not for me to say but either way i would be thinking later rather than sooner jmo

its a bit young at 8 months mate hold it back they are very head strong and if ran to soon it may yapp i have entered mine on the lamp at 12 month nice easy rabbits none have yapped and are good rabbit dogs if the time is put in hope yours is a good un atb troter

thanks for the replys wasnt thinking of starting her just yet but just after advice for when the time comes

as trotter says hold it back it aint worth rushing into things and try and get ya dog on sum squatters and get a close as possible before you slip.if you know your land and where the holes are try and get into position where the rabbit runs into the open rather just runing to the holes it wil give ya dog beta chance.

I'm pretty new to the game myself, Ive got a beddy whippet and she's just caught her first rabbit at 16 months, I think it's all about being patient and picking the right rabbit.
